My journey into clinical bodywork began exactly where many of my clients find themselves : trying to navigate a body that felt constantly misunderstood by standard routines. From a young age I experienced patterns of imbalances and compensations, occupational overuse and postural discomfort from   "abnormal skeletal structure" . That forced me to tune in and listen to my body's internal signals long before I ever picked up an anatomy textbook.

When I began my formal training, starting deeply with the precision of acupressure, I was driven by a core question :

Why do some conventional manipulation techniques leave a person feeling worse, while others facilitate genuine, lasting relief ?

I have had the absolute privilege of attending a year-long intensive mentorship training under a highly experienced Shiatsu - Traditional Japanese Master in South Island New Zealand .

I watched as standard, heavy-handed massage protocols frequently over-activated sensitive nervous systems or strained healing issues.

To find more answers,  I pursued a formal qualification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage ( MLD ) as well as Orthobionomy.

I realized that true healing happens in the nuance.

Through this foundational lineage and years of dedicated, self-taught observation of structural anatomy, I mastered the art of soft tissue and joint release, alongside resetting complex musculoskeletal imbalances which cannot be forced into a standard , assembly-line flowchart.

Today, as an independent therapist, my practice is built around the exact individual care I once looked for .

By combining precise musculoskeletal gentle resetting with lymphatic rerouting, I help clients safely decode their physical symptoms, reset long-standing postural compensations, and achieve lasting comfort on their own biological terms.

In 2022 , I was diagnosed with breast cancer and whilst my current situation fell apart, simultaneously I felt the strong guidance that all my skills and experience and knowledge came together to support my journey.

It was a powerful reminder that while my programming relies heavily on official medical consensus for safety,

the real world of healing requires immense nuance, deep listening , and the courage to look outside the institutional box.
